LEIGH HAMILTON
Principal
Leigh has over 35 years experience as a Chartered Accountant, and formed the practice of L. E. Hamilton & Co in 1993, specialising in accounting, tax, small business and SMSF advisory.
After graduating from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Leigh commenced his career at Price Waterhouse gaining experience in audit, small business and tax, before being promoted to the position of Senior Taxation Consultant. He then worked as a Financial Controller for a successful car dealership before returning to the profession, initially as a partner in a small accounting firm, and since then as a sole practitioner.
SHELLIE HUGHES
Bookkeeper, Secretarial and BAS Agent
With over 20 years experience working in small accounting practices, Shellie bookkeeps, prepares tax returns, manages ATO lodgement program, handles corporate secretarial and ASIC lodgements, administers SMSF compliance, manages IT issues and practice management.
Shellie is a most valued member of the team and has worked full time for L. E. Hamilton & Co since 2005.
DEB JENNINGS
Bookkeeper and BAS Agent
Deb has a number of her own bookkeeping clients and has worked part time for L. E. Hamilton & Co since 2010.
Deb has obtained a Diploma III qualification in Financial Services, and is an Advanced Chartered Tax Adviser, as well as a Registered BAS Agent.
